District 12 Budget Town Hall Meetings
City Manager Mary Suhm has presented her proposed budget for the next fiscal year, 10/1/11 to 9/30/12. Please attend one of my town hall meetings listed below to hear about the budget proposal and give me your feedback on it. Briefly, the budget proposes:
- No tax rate increase
- 200 police officers and 200 firefighters hired
- Almost all rec centers to stay open
- Library materials budget increased
- No sanitation rate increase
- Water rate increase
